Week 35.......

So, I don't feel huge until I see pictures of myself. I literally looked at this picture and my jaw dropped as I exclaimed, "I'm huge!!!" CRAZY!!!!

This picture was taken l
ast Saturday at Arizona Snowbowl (this is actually the run I skied last winter) disc golf course. I didn't play, but hiked along with Andrew, Rob and Aude. It was a beautiful day. My feet were definitely very soar after all day of hiking.

Andrew putting.
I really can't believe that it is almost November and the weather was so warm on Saturday. I actually wore flip flops today. I wonder when we will get our first snow fall. Any guesses?

Last Friday we went over to Rob and Aude's house to carve pumpkins. Their neighbor, Claudine was there as well. Andrew and I carved a pumpkin for Claudine's husband as he had the flu and couldn't make it. We only took pictures of our pumpkins for some reason, most likely because our hands were goopy. I think ours turned out really cute. Plus we were able to take 5 pumpkins worth of seed and roast them for snacks. They turned out really YUMMY!!
There they are....before the carving.

I wanted a white pumpkin to carve a ghost on. Cute, huh?

And after all the carving is completed. The Pirate is the other pumpkin we carved.

And here they are all a glow. Claudine carved the cat.

This is Aude's pumpkin. I think it was the best looking one.

So, baby news. She is still moving and rolling around. I am feeling pretty tired this week and my back has been hurting. Ugh! I also had my flu shot yesterday. I don't think I have had a flu shot since I was in Kindergarten and I am pretty sure it made me sick. But my doctor recommended I get the shot since it is cold and flu season and will still flu season when the baby is born. I had another doctor's visit today. Pretty routine. I will now go to the doctor once a week. And good news, my doctor couldn't tell the exact position of the baby so she suggested we do an ultrasound next week. YEAH! (she was pretty sure the baby was head down, but she wants to be sure.) I am excited to be able to have another ultrasound!! I think that is about it. This weeks goals are to clean the fridge, hang some pictures, keep the house tidy and get the car seat installed.

Oooh, and I had a great idea. I am thinking about starting a business or ministry called "I'm Done". It will be for pregnant women during the last 6 weeks of pregnancy and the first 6 weeks postpartum to help them with odds and ends, like cooking, running errands, grocery shopping and cleaning, when they just want to throw their hands up and say "I'm Done!" I say that a lot! :-)

TRIVIA in honor of Halloween this week- worth 3 million points: What was the first wrapped penny candy in America?

Donnie and I have the same carving set of templates, and I made the haunted house one, too! So fun :)

Donnie made the witch one because he found a pumpking with a long curved stalk and make it look like her hat :)

Whoa! Genius Target idea lady! Now if only you could put candy and wrinkle release on one of those things. I think I will use it for the rest of the stuff though. :)
