Here is a video from October 11 th. We call it "Slide"

This was taken this afternoon and showcases Emmy clapping(she figured it out today) and walking.

I also have a dancing video, but I can't find it. Enjoy these two.....Leave a comment...let me know you read. Also, don't forget to check out the 3 previous posts from today.

First Annual Baby Roundup! Part 2 ( Noni and Grandad)

Emmy's Noni taught her how to touch noses. It is the sweetest thing...however she will only do it with her Noni.

Noni got Emmy some clog slippers from Amsterdam. They are a bit big for her which make Emmy walk like a cat in water.

To view more photos go to my sister's blog. She has some pictures that I don't have. Here is her blog. Don't forget to look at the previous posts from today. Videos are coming up next.

First Annual Baby Roundup! YeeHaw! (Part 1- Emmy and Daniel)

So Blogger likes to post the pictures in reverse order....The picture below is the last in the series between Emmy and Daniel. Scroll to the bottom to see the progression. TOO CUTE! I think they have already become fast friends and seem to be sharing secrets already. Have I mentioned that these pictures are TOO BEYOND CUTE!!!!!!

The closest thing to a real life musical.( not sure why the videos posted several times)

So, I think my new goal is to either witness or be a part of a flash mob dance. They make me happy. I love it! Not to be too sappy, but I think it is neat to perform just for the sake of doing it. It's kind of like the artist Andrew Goldsworthy. Again, I don't mean to be sappy, but it's just cool to do something because you enjoy it and perhaps other will enjoy it as well.

Here are a few of my favorites.

I would have LOVED to witness this one.

Or this one....

Even this one

Or this one...although not as spontaneous

So if you are in the know.........

Emmy is 10 months old today!

Our Little Pumpkin is 10 Months Old
What can Emmy do:
~ She just stared to point to things that she wants like door knobs, light switches, toys, her paci
~ She is a pro at standing all by herself and has shown some desire to walk
~ She likes to play peek-a-boo, this time she is the one who moves around something to peek at you!
~ She eats just about anything. Green veggies aren't her favorite, but with some cleverness of mom and dad we sneak them in. She also is more able to feed herself. She has the pinching motion down to grasp food with her thumb and pointer finger. She doesn't always get the food in her mouth, but at least she trys.
~She is wearing size 12 month pants...due mainly because of her cloth diapers. But is in 9-12 months in everything else
~ She is really good at walking when we hold her hands.
~ She likes to hold at least 2 things in her hands.

She is amazing and we love her more and more each day! She makes us smile and laugh all the time. It is a joy to be her parents! I still can't believe how big she has gotten. Don't get me wrong, she is still a little girl, but I held a 5 month old on Saturday and I swear she didn't weigh a thing in comparison to Emmy. She is growing up too fast. It's hard to believe that in 2 months-2 MONTHS- she will be 1 year old!

Stay tuned for my next post: Have baby, will travel.
