Tropical storm MANNING moving through the Miami area February 7^th. Please be advised, several touchdowns expected, hail Mary’s and other projectiles may be abundant. But strangely, very little BREES.

Snowbowl has reported 7 feet of snow on the moutain. Makes for good skiing! We are actually looking/hoping to do a bit of cross country skiing next week.

The pictures aren't really that great. I will try to get the photos that we have taken of our yard up soon.

This is a blog I have been following for quite some time now. Her husband and his band lead worship at most of Sagemont Youth's events while I was an intern there. They are amazing people.

Their son came home Saturday after 2.5 years of being in the adoption process. Their daughter came home 3 months ago.

SNOW SNOW SNOW

Hello to all! It has been a while since my last post. We haven't had internet at the house in a week, hence no posts. I ventured out for a bit to catch up on emails and such.

We have been busy this past week. A huge storm, well set of storms, rolled into town last Monday and I think is just now on it's way out. We have had a total 45.7 inches of snow since Monday. Thursday was the 12th snowiest day in Flagstaff history. We went out around town today and saw 3 buildings that had collapsed roofs (well 3 businesses in one building). The stores were my beloved JoAnn's Fabrics and a bookstore. I have pictures of the building, but will have to post it later. I believe 2 other businesses were also reported to have collapsed roofs due to the snow.

We are all safe and warm in our house. We(and by we I mean Andrew) have been busy shoveling the walk to our house and making sure our cars weren't buried in. I think on Friday it took Andrew 2 hours to shovel the walk and the cars. And then had to do it all over again today. The good part is, if you keep up with it, it really is worth it. Can you imagine trying to dig out of 3 feet of snow at one time! YUCK!

We stocked up on groceries, movies and projects in preparation for the storm, but we have still been a bit stir crazy. My house is clean, the laundry done, I made a dress for Emmy and am working on another one, watched movies, played games so it has been a productive few days.

Well, I am going to get on home. Little Emmy has a fever today. She still acts the same just is extra snuggly. I hate when she doesn't feel well, but will soak up the cuddles for whatever reason.

Some of Emmy's Favorite Toys.

Busy Ball Popper. It took her a while to figure it out, but now she can push the button to make it go. When the balls first shoot out she giggles so hard. She hasn't figured out that she has to put the balls back, so she waits until the balls are still enough for her to grab them and then she just holds them.
This is Violet, Emmy's puppy. She loves to dance to the music the dog makes. It will also say her name, we just haven't programmed it yet. She adores this little puppy.
Emmy loves this toy. She played with a similar, yet vintage, toy at her Great Aunt Margy and Great Uncle Brandt's house. She loves putting all the animals in the silo and then taking them all out. She has also figured out how to trigger all the sounds.

All these toys are Emmy Tested and Approved! Her mom and dad also love them as well.

Found: Belly Button

While we were in Texas over Christmas, my mom showed Emaline her belly button. She was pretty excited to find out she had one. We captured these pictures when we got back. We had just asked Emmy where her belly button was and the pictures indicate what she did.
