ISN'T SHE CUTE!!!!! Can you see her little nose, lips and chin? Her tongue is actually sticking out a little too!( for those who didn't have the tech point out all the features: look the the left of the picture and you will see my finger (the right side has two of my fingers showing)...that is the top of her head, the nose is on the same plan as my finger, near the dark spots(which are her eyes, I assume and then her lips are right below with her tongue poking out. Her face is horizontal. Hope that helps, let me know if you need more directions)This picture doesn't show it as well, but she has chubby little cheeks as well! And of course, we did confirm we are indeed having a girl. The ultrasound tech said that she most likely weighs 6.3 lbs give or take a pound, so between 5 and 7 pounds. Everything else is great, heartbeat, growth and she is even practicing breathing.
I go back in two weeks. Normally, I would go back next week, but my doctor is going to be out of town. It was up to me to if I wanted to come in, so I just scheduled for the 18th. The doctor also said that if I went into labor tomorrow she wouldn't stop me. So, we are really just playing the waiting game. The car seat is installed and we are just waiting for the county to call us back to schedule an inspection to make sure it is installed properly. Which they just did, and will be done Thursday.
On other news. We voted today. I have been playing Wii Mario Cart. I can definitely kick some butt. The guest room is guest ready....I put clean sheets and towels to await family and friends to arrive after the baby arrives. And Mom, I put the electric blanket on the bed so it will be nice and toasty. I hurt my foot last week, but I don't remember actually hurting it. I put my shoes on and the top of my left foot started hurting. No bruise, but there is a bump. At first it only hurt when I wore shoes, but now it hurts when I am just walking around the house. I have NO idea how it happened, but it sure is annoying. Still to be done, clean the fridge, gather a few more baby items, keep the house tidy and go see the new bond movie in a few weeks! :-)
More other news, Christmas is fast approaching. Andrew and I, along with our church, are joining something called the Advent Conspiracy.
The money that we save on gifts, we are going to help buy a well or a share of a well...we haven't decided through whom yet. But we extend the invitation for others to join us in the "conspiracy." Something else that we are excited about, is trying to buy gifts that benefit others. Here are a two websites that I have been excited to look through:

Congrats to Abby for winning the Trivia for last week. It was indeed the tootsie roll. Next week, I will announce the Honeydew pun winner. As well as this week's Presidential Trivia. There is a catch on this one. You can't use google to find the answer in the first 24 hours, you can ask others, but no internet!!!!
Worth 5 million points:
Who was the first president to be born in a hospital?

Hmmmm, JFK or Eisenhower. I just think it was somewhere around the 19-teens and -twenties.
And I love the ultrasound! Could you give me some orienting clues, though? :) Looking at ultrasounds (for me, at least) always requires the person to point out one orienting feature and then I can see the rest.
Excellent "viewing instructions"! I can now fully appreciate her cute little nose and full little lips :) (Donnie agrees that she's cute :D)
i'd guess jfk because they were wealthy. probably would have taken advantage of being able to afford a hospital.
yeah on voting!!!
love ya'll

So you should be receiving two somethings in the mail soon. And if the first something makes reference to an item that isn't in the first something, just wait because it will show up in the second something. :)
Love the ultrasound and "viewing instructions"! You have been "tagged." Go here to see what that entails:
