Week 28!!!!!!

Either these last few weeks are going to drag on or go by really fast. I am leaning towards going by fast. I have many things to look forward to that will distract me from the fact that I am still pregnant.

This weekend is my birthday party!! My friend Demarara and I are throwing a joint party. This years theme is Heroes and Villains (this is NOT because of the show heroes). It should be a good time and I am looking forward to see who shows up! Don't worry, I will post pictures.

Mom is also coming to visit at the first of October to help get the nursery ready. I am definitely ready to have that done. I am so tired of looking at white and neon blue walls!! It will be nice to have soothing cream and brown with accents of green(sage), lavender, pink and blue in the room.

Actually those are the biggest events that are coming up. Of course our schedule is filled with local events, like going to Sedona, volunteering at the Food Bank, etc. on top of our normal week to week schedule. We have enough to keep us busy with work and play.

On to baby news. Below are pictures of some of the gifts that we received at the shower.

A HUGE thank you to Sandy and Tony for the adorable Jazzy Toes!!!! We love them. My favorite is between the sandals and the cowboy boots. They are just too cute!
Also thank you to Grandma Grapes for the wonderful box of clothes. They are also very adorable.

And last but not least, I scored another great find on Craigslist and got all the clothes below for $20. They are all 0-6 months for the exact season we will be needing them. We have plenty of warm sleepers, long sleeve onesies, and outfits to last until the warm weather gets here. So please note that we do not need any clothes in sizes 0-6 months.

This past Saturday, Andrew and I went to take some maternity photos. A friend of a friend is a photographer and wanting to diversify his portfolio. He offered to take our photos for free!!!! He wants to chronicle the last few months so we will do two other shoots, one in October and one in November. And then he would like to take baby and family pictures once the baby is born. And the best part is that we will get the CD from the shoot of all the pictures. Did I mention for FREE?! Plus he is SUPER AMAZING! Here is a link : Maternity Photos. Just click on galleries, and then on the maternity link. We are the only pictures (there are only a few at this time, but keep checking back, there will be more).

Here is another picture from Houston with Sam and Alexis.

This week's trivia question is in honor of the above picture's location- Starbucks:
The first Starbucks was opened in Seattle in what year across form Pike Place Market?
*** Bonus question for 2 million points: What drink do I usually order from Starbucks?****

Since the last two posts did not have trivia questions this one is worth a Whopping 8 million points! Happy Guessing!
