So does that make me the walrus? goo goo g'joobI definitely feel like I look like a walrus at times. Ha! :-) Oh well. I am pretty proud that two posts in a row have mentioned something about the Beatles.
The Eggplant will be the veggie for weeks 25-28.
So here is what is going on: Let your spouse put an ear to your belly -- he might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required). Inside the womb, the formation of tiny capillaries is giving baby a healthy pink glow. Baby's also soaking up your antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and baby will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.
Went to the doctor this morning. Pretty much I am perfect. But you all knew that already. No, really, I am on target with everything. Weight gain is right on target. The belly is being measured at 24 inches, which is right on target. Baby's heartbeat is right on target. I have to have the glucose test, to check for gestational diabetes, before my next appointment next month. So things are going well. Next month with my last monthly appointment and then I will be going every two weeks.

This is Andrew after he just got home from work. I think that he looks like he is wearing a Liederhausen from Austria. I also call him Mushroom head with his helmet on, but I am a HUGE advocate to wearing helmets when riding bikes. Safety First!!! Isn't he cute?
This is me at 25 weeks. Taken on 08/15/08. I look really pregnant. I am the walrus (fyi, only I can make jokes about how big I am). :-) I also took this picture since I was NOT wearing the green skirt that is in every other pregnant picture of me. Thanks, Emily, for taking this photo!

Ferris quotes John Lennon in the hallway as he waits for Cameron to come pick him up so they can ditch school. If you recall in the movie all he got for his birthday was a computer.
