August @ 11 Months

August is a busy, busy boy! He is hard to capture on film....he usually ends up just being a blur on the screen. He LOVES to clap and wave. He is mastering feeding himself. He is actually off of baby food as of last week and mainly eats table food. August also likes to feed himself with a spoon, we just load up a spoon and give it to him. He likes mac 'n cheese, beans, peas, chicken, toast, spaghetti sauce, pretzels, broccoli and cheese. He stands up all by himself and I think he will start walking any day now. He goes in for his one year well baby visit on April 2, so we will know how much he weighs and all that info.

August is such a happy little guy! 

He LOVES looking out the windows and will just wave.

August is also a little cuddle bug. He loves to be snuggled and cuddled. When he gets tired, he will just crawl over to me(or Andrew) and just lay down on our lap....or if he finds something soft, a pillow, the couch, or a stuffed animal, he will just lay his head down on it. It is such a sweet little thing he does. 

My little sour patch kid. Now, he isn't crying because of his patch...he wanted to play with the camera and I wouldn't let him.

August really doesn't mind wearing his patch. He might protest a bit when putting it on, but once it's on he's his happy little self again.

He also really loves music. When we play something on the iPod, he immediately starts bouncing and swaying to the music. He definitely gets his groove on!

LOVE THIS BOY! Next week he turns ONE!!! Time goes by too fast!
