August's One Month Update***NEW PICTURE ADDED****

At one month old, August is doing great! He is a sweet little boy!! I am not sure how much he weighs since our scale isn't working... but he is filling out a bit, so I know he is gaining weight. He is still sleeping and eating like a champ...about every 3-4 hours. He is almost out of his newborn clothes, but 0-3 month clothes are a bit big. His eyes are still the baby gray and we can't tell what color they will be yet.

He is resembling Emaline and Andrew a bit more....especially his nose. But to be honest, he just looks like August to me! :-)

We get asked often what we will call him. For now we call him August, among other little names. But he gets called Augie by my folks and Gus by his surrogate aunties....we don't really have a preference. We will most likely call him Augie for short.

We have also chosen a life verse for August that we found in the book of Daniel.
"And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever." Daniel 12:3
Which I think is funny since Emaline's life verse also has to do with wisdom. We definitely pray that are kids will seek wisdom from the Lord in all that they do!!

This is Emaline when she was about 5 weeks old or so. I wanted to take the same picture with August.If you look closely you will see that August is wearing his animal onesie. It was a perfect time to get a picture will all of his (and Emaline's) animals. When I was taking the pictures, Emmy kept coming in and throwing more stuffed animals into the crib.

August is just about as long as an alligator!
