Indiana, Part Two

These pictures really show what we did in Indiana. We actually didn't do too much more than hang out with family and friends. Andrew played disc golf a few times. I went to a really neat knit shop. Andrew and I got a date night in as well. Went to church. Went to an apple orchard to pick apples. Took family photos. Many people have asked how she did on the airplane. The answer: GREAT! She is a pro. She played in our laps and then fell asleep. Of course once the pilot came on over the intercom she woke up. I could have hit him, but she did get about an hour long nap. On one of the legs of the trip we had an extra seat so we strapped her into her carseat. ( I will be posting a blog with tips for traveling with a baby)
Here is Emmy and Uncle Michael. She wasn't so sure about him in the beginning, but of course she warmed up in no time. She really loves her Uncle Michael.
We ate at our old workplace, Buca di Beppo, on Friday night. We went with the McCrackens. Surprisingly, we saw people we used to work with, however they had been promoted to management. It was great to see them and know they were doing well. ( Monument Circle, pictured above)

Great Grandma Grapes and Emmy

Emaline used my knees to get on top of the coffee table.

We went over to Joe and Julia's for a bit. We were able to introduce Emaline to Kimba. They both did very well together. Kimba is a sweet, well mannered dog.

Picking apples

It was so much fun. We will have to go back when we are in town again!

We picked gala, mollies, cortland apples. That evening I made an apple pie. YUMMY!!!

So all in all we had a wonderful time. It was a little rough in the beginning getting Emaline adjusted to the 3 hour time change, but she did great with an interrupted schedule. Thanks to Tony and Sandy for carting us all over and for watching Emmy. Oh and I have to give a little shout out to Emily Crane who mentioned she read the blog....Thanks for reading, but you have never left a comment! ;-)

There are a few more pictures that I need to post, but that will come later. I will be posting Emaline's 9 month update as well.
(be sure to check out the 3 previous posts I updated last night)

Thank you so much for all the wonderful pics. She's such a cute little punkin! I'm glad you were able to take a family vaca. I hope we take time to do that too. Ya'll look so great! And again, love the hair! Oh, and I would love tips on traveling with a baby. I half expect it to be a nightmare ;).
