9 Months Old!!

So our sweet little girl turned 9 months old! I can't believe she is so big. We went to the doctor yesterday. She weighs 17lb 12oz. The doctor kept saying she was beautiful. I could find no reason to disagree. Emmy's accomplishments: She responds to her name(kind of), will wave(at times), crawls on her knees, feeds herself small pieces of food, drinks from a cup or sippy, sits up by herself, goes from crawling to sitting. She likes to point at things and touch things with her pointer finger(think of how Monk touches stuff). She has stood independently twice for like a blink. She talks and sings all the time. No teeth yet, maybe they will come all at once.

My accomplishments: I am more relaxed and go with the flow more often. Early on my mom told me to interrupt Emaline's schedule every now and then so we both know how to handle it. Best piece of advice, thanks Mom. That is what made our trip to Indy so smooth...we knew what to expect. Another tip when traveling: Keep your expectations low. Your child will melt, will cry, will be totally off the routine and when they don't do those things, BONUS! And don't worry what other people think if you have a child who is crying on the plane, it happens, babies cry- they are adults and can get over it.

We love our little cutie cute! This is a really fun stage. She is crawling and "walking" all over the place. She walks when holding on to things and could just about run laps around our coffee table all day.

That's all(for now)!!
