New Do...

So before I found out I was pregnant I really wanted to get a completely new haircut. By the time I actually made my hair appointment I was already preggo. I had been advised to not get a new haircut while pregnant...so I waited. Now I am itching to do something different.
My options are this:
1)Tell my hairstylist to do WHATEVER they thing would look amazing, as long as I didn't have to spend a lot of time fixing it and I could even do a wash and go. The drawback is that my hairstylist is moving and I am not sure if I can still book with her. But I do trust anyone at that particular salon to do something awesome.
2) Go short like this:

3) Or keep my long locks and just spice it up a bit.

Leave a comment and let me know your opinion. What do YOU think I should do?

I would say keep it longer and spice it up. You can always go shorter if you decide that later.Love you, Mom

This is a tough one! But, I think if you have never donated to Locks of Love yet (which maybe you have already), it was something I'm always glad I did. In that case #2 is what I vote for. I had a hair cut similar and absolutely LOVED it! Didn't regret cutting off all my hair until about 12 months later. Then I wanted something a little different. I also found that the #2 style grew out really nicely. So, I didn't have that awkward ugly stage when growing it back out. Plus, that shorter hair cut was amazingly easy to style. No longer did I have to blow dry for 35 min. and then flat iron for 10!

Or, if you don't want to go that extreme, I do suggest maybe a couple inches below the shoulder and layer it up. You'll be able to do a lot with it still.

Ah hair! I am growing mine back out long to probably then chop it off again =). But, was struggling because I wanted a change without losing length. So, I got me some highlights. Hurray for being a girl!

Whatever you chose it will be gorgeous! Make sure to post pics of the new do though!

Hey Meagan, it's Cathy... Just before school started I decided to do a shorter style for something new... Got a bob like Katie Holmes' when it was just below her ears... And it was(is) really, really cute if you're willing to put in 30-45 minutes a day (which I'd rather be sleeping). Now I'm growing it out again for ponytails.
Your hair looks so beautiful long-- what about just taking off several inches and adding in some layers?

I liked your above the shoulders bob post high school. It can still be long enough to pull back, but will dry so much quicker. Your mom's hair was cute at the "sassy" stage, but then again, she looks good at any length. Shop Amanda's pictures, too, since you have the same shape face. Tell whoever ends up doing the cut that your eyes are to be the focus, then you won't go wrong. Hogs and Quiches...
