In Emmy news tonight she is unofficially 10 pounds. I weighed her at work by stepping on the scale by myself and then I held Emmy. Which I want to say that work has been going well. For those who don't know, I work out of my boss' house. I am able to put a portable crib in the guest room where Emmy sleeps during the day. Plus, my boss has two girls, ages, 4 and 7, and has one room in the house as nothing but a play room, so once Emmy gets big enough she will have more toys to play with than she will ever have at home. We feel very blessed with my job.

More Emmy news, her best wake/alert time seems to be in the morning. She grins and coos and likes to "play". Sleep is going well. She isn't a very fussy baby and only cries when there is something that needs to be tended to, like a dirty diaper, spit up, becoming unswaddled and gas. It helps to take the guess work out of things, because if we hear her cry we know she isn't just crying to cry. Also, she is a champion burper. I call her burps Frat boy burps...I swear she will burp the alphabet one of these days.
Bath timeMy favorite part of the day is when Emaline first wakes up from any one of her naps during the day, the first part of it being my favorite is when she curls her feet up and stretches her hands way above her head, the second part is when she nuzzles her head on my neck because she is still sleepy and then she rubs her eyes with the backs of her hands! IT IS SO PRECIOUS! I love it.

Ha! I just cant get over how great you look only having had a baby 1 month ago Meg! Beautiful mama!! And, I can't get over how awesome your job is. When we have kids, don't know my boss will let me bring a baby into my little cubicle =)!! That is so wonderful.
