As you can see in the Ticker on the blog only 6 more days! Yep, we are getting close. There really isn't anything to update other than we are just waiting! I had a visit with the doctor on Monday. Pretty normal and routine. The baby's heartbeat is good and strong. I lost 2 pounds since my last visit. My doctor said that was normal at this stage...I don't really have room to eat a lot. My appetite has waned significantly these past few weeks. I am feeling well. My foot is feeling somewhat better. A few toes are still swollen, but the pain has moved from the middle of the foot to closer to the toes....not sure why. Maybe it isn't a stress fracture. Who knows!
I am still working and plan to work until the baby comes. It is nice to get out of the house and it keeps my mind occupied instead of just sitting around waiting.
Thanksgiving is tomorrow.The Macy's Thanksgiving parade starts at nine and I plan to make cinnamon rolls and watch it all. We are getting together with our friends from church for lunch/dinner. Andrew's coworker, Lowell, is also coming and he is bringing the turkey. He has a smoker and will smoke the turkey for like 8 hours. We got to try the test turkey and it was absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!! So flavorful and moist. We also plan to decorate for Christmas this weekend. We aren't sure if we will be in town for Christmas (depends on how soon baby comes), so we may not get a tree. I still want to put a few things out to make the house feel festive.

Eat lots of turkey..We are going over to some friends house for Thanksgiving..I am making chocolate pecan pie and green bean casserole :D
ps..did you know that if you have your baby on you due date, Dec 2, that your baby will share a birthday with Britney Spears??

tomorrow will be a late dinner, 4ish, so mom and i are going to lay baseboard during the day, try to get the house feeling normal again.

pretty sure i'll be a grampa by monday. isn't that a strange thought.
