Andrew and I: My shirt says "I can grow people, what's your power?" And Andrew went as the shoveler from Mystery Men. (raise your hand if you have seen that movie....1 million points for everyone who has seen it, and I will test you if you say yes...no greedy point mongers)
Demarara and Me- The birthday girls. She was a villain, Medusa.
Our friends Rob, The Exterminator and Aude, the helpless victim, The Ladybug.
Melissa, Wonder woman with Medusa.
I also thought that I would do some explaining on my 101 in 1001 days list. It is on the left hand side of the blog. I have been able to cross a few things off my list, so I thought I would share what I have accomplished:
11. Get rid of table and chairs: We got a new dining room set when we moved into our townhouse and sold the old set to some college kids on craigslist. FYI, I am a craigslist junkie.
12. Find 2 chairs to replace couch in living room: Found a nice chair on craigslist for$35 and bought a chair from a resale shop for $ 35. They were excellent bargains as the chairs are super comfortable.
13. Move TV to living room: We accomplished this a few weeks ago. As much as I thought I would hate having the TV in the living room. It actually looks nice and with the way the furniture is arranged the TV is not the focal point of the room. Plus, house rule is that the TV is not to be on when company is over unless you are specifically invited to come watch a game or movie.
14. Find desk for my craft room: Another craigslist find- Nice solid wood 7 drawer desk with office chair for $20. It just needs to be refinished. It is a beautiful desk though. Perfect for it's intended use!
16. Have a costume birthday party: As evidenced by the above pictures.
56. Eat at a new restaurant downtown: We ate at Cafe Ole for my birthday! It was very yummy and decently priced. My favorite was the guacamole tacos. And I am a guac snob and it was off the charts for me. I will definitely go again.

I only got to like 33 when I was trying to make my list....maybe I'll do that this weekend. However when I post it I will already have a few things to scratch off. Nice costume! :) Last year for halloween I was almost 9 mos preggo and I wanted to sit on our front porch wearing a beater, cut off shorts and hold a beer can :) I thought better of it.
so where's the trivia question? was it just who had seen the movie? hmmm i can honestly say that i haven't seen it...but yay for AJ for portraying it perfectly! good job! :P
looks like ya'll had fun! it makes me want to dress up for Halloween hehe :)
I tagged you for a survey on my blog! Have fun!
By the way, I love the costume and the maternity pics. Cute cute!
I saw Mystery Men in college, but I must say I didn't enjoy it. I don't think I was in the right mood for that type of movie at the time. *shrug*
