Your fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to you), passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. And, baby's finally big enough that you'll be able to feel those movements soon.(Pretty sure no movement yet, but I have been told it can be hard to determine if you actually felt it.)
So, two posts in one week. Most likely that won't happen too often. I don't really have that much stuff to say that is interesting. (This is where you interject saying, of course you do, Meagan.) Thanks, Abby and Sam for commenting on the blog. 2 Million points for each of you. Thanks also to those who emailed as well. It is nice to know that I am not writing in vain.
More photos will be coming from this weekend. We are going to attempt to climb Mt. Humphrey's, the highest point in Arizona, this Friday morning. Don't worry, my doctor already told me it was OK. I will take a reasonable pace, with lots of water, snacks and breaks. We weren't able to make the summit last year and it was my goal to accomplish the task this summer. We'll let you know how it goes.
As you saw from the previous post, our baby's room is a glowing blue. The plan is to definitely repaint it. I have been thinking of painting it two colors with a chair rail dividing the two colors. The top color will most likely be a hazelnut cream color and the bottom will be a deep brown. Andrew and I want a room that we won't have to immediately redo as the kid grows up. We aren't really into the trucks for boys and frills, lace and pink(at least in nursery decor) for girls. We want the "bones" of the room to be pretty age/gender friendly and have the accessories and furniture change. We have also found a different bedding than listed in the original post. We think it is gender neutral. What do you think?

Let me know if there is any info that you are wanting. I don't think there is anything else to share. Except that we got a few good hours of rain today...which is MUCH needed. Hope it keeps on coming!

Hey Sweet Potatoes,
I wanted you to check out this travel system: http://www.combistrollers.com/ProductDetails.aspx?CategoryID=4&selection=10&Children=0&productID=724
This is what Joselyn and Jason have. I was amazed at the ease with which it collapsed, stored and then used the shoulder strap to carry it. Jason really likes it in the air port. It is pretty sturdy, but I have no idea how it compares to what you have selected. It caught my eye because it comes with the car seat. I just remember how heavy Drew became as he gained weight and I hauled the kiddo and car seat around to get everywhere. The ability to roll the baby longer in buildings with the car seat and the collapsible stroller being able to go with you instead of being left in the car or left at the door appealed to me.
Grandma Grapes is buying blankets for you-one in each pink and blue.
If I am a betting woman, I am going for a girl. This is said without laying eyes on you. If you are carrying low, then all bets are off. Low goes with boy on my side of the family. But in my mind I can see the baby--pretty. I just equate pretty face-Megs- with girl. If the baby is cute, boy. How is that for scientific?
I need to get to work. Love you,
Mom, Sandy

say hi to the little sweet potato for me!
random abby thought (and very bad pun..warning ahead):
so if the characters of the Bible were fruits/veggies..would it be Yamson and Delilah??
LOL..yes i am the dork who laughs outright at her own jokes :)
love ya meg!
ps..i accidentally posted this on the wrong blog..so here it is again
hi meg-
thanks for the postings. i always check daily.
continuing the name game- "avocado" johnson now "yam" johnson--(yea abby for Yamson). i can only see one option from yam, that would be the obvious-May. But if we were to expand to "sweet potato", that should offer boundless naming choices. to be offered at a later time.
good luck on the climb. wave towards flagstaff when you get up their and i'll watch for you on the webcam.
love-
dad
To Meggie Moo and Andrew, too
