Millicent @ 1 Month Old

Millie has been such a sweet, easy going and relaxed baby.  She can sleep through almost anything...from her sister and brother squealing and screeching as they wrestle with Andrew, to me putting laundry away in our room or even vacuuming while she naps in her papasan chair.

She won't take a paci and for a few weeks hated being swaddled. But we have convinced her that being swaddled is so much more comfy....and helps her sleep much better.

She loves to move. She kind of hates the car seat unless we are moving. She will cry at stop lights/signs and will immediately calm down once we can drive again.

She likes to spit up...a lot. We both change our clothes at least twice a day.

Millicent eats about every 3-4 hours. She will have at least an hour of wake time....which includes activities like bath time and tummy time.

She's been having a bit of a rough time at nights....she just likes to be awake for several hours after her late evening meal. For a few nights in a row she wouldn't sleep unless she was being rocked or walked.....I believe at times Andrew was walking her around for several hours. He's amazing and let me sleep. Thankfully (and knock on wood) the last few nights she has soothed herself to sleep without needing to be rocked for hours. And she even slept 4.5 hours.

She also got to meet her Noni and Grandad!

Her eyes are still quite blue. Not quite as blue as Emmy's were, but bluer than August's were at the same age. My guess is that she will keep her blue eyes.

She is a little doll and we all adore her! Even though she's only been here for 4 weeks, it seems like she has always been here. It's hard to remember what is was like without her.
