Fun with a box

Last month, I updated August's clothes. Moving out the clothes that were too small and moving up the next sizes. In doing so, I was able to empty a box that was in his closet. It was filled to the brim with clothes...mainly 2T. That means two things: 1) August has a LOT of clothes, so much so that I have a hard time shutting his drawers, 2) we've had an empty box to play with.

Empty Box = Hours of Fun!
I got out the markers and let Emmy go to town on it, she uses it as a drum, August pulls up on it, things get thrown in it....the opportunities are endless. The pictures below are what I like to call:

August gets sent to Abu Dhabi (ala Garfield vs Nermal)

I put August in the box to contain him while I was busy with something.

Throw him a few toys and he is set.

Sister, upon seeing her little brother in a box , decided to seize the opportunity.

Send the cute little brother to Abu Dhabi!

What! Mom won't let me mail him?! Well, I'll get in the box too!

She kicked August out of the box and it soon became her safe spot where August couldn't get her!

August trying to shut her in this time!

She literally spent an hour sitting in the box "reading".

I love this blog! Love it! So fun! I still, to this day as a grown up, love boxes. We used to draw on them and make them into a kitchen (so draw the little stove top, etc). Thanks for blogging!
