You fill our home with joy, laughter, ridiculousness, fun, energy, love, cuddles,  goofiness and silliness....to name just a few.

We love you dearly and are beyond blessed that God gave us you!

 This birthday was especially fun because Emaline now knows what birthday's are all about...treats and presents and all things special. She was very anxious to get to those gifts. Emaline didn't need any help opening them this year.

It has also been really fun to see her play her her new gifts. She has literally spent specific time(lots and lots of time....like hours...consecutive hours....playing contently by herself) playing with each gift. No more playing with the box or tissue paper. Emaline has enjoyed playing with everything. This is also a gift to me! She has been occupied with her new toys that I am able to get a few extra things done around the house too. Now it is time to put away some of her older toys to bring out later in the year.

She got a few new books (toot and puddle) from mama and papa.

Balloon wreath I made for birthdays and special occasions. Made from THIS tutorial. I felt that it was too cold to hang it on our front door (which is where I will normally hang it when we have parties) so I put it on her door after she went to sleep the day before her actual birthday. She woke up to a decorated door, the birthday banner hanging up and streamers.

Birthday Party Time

Emaline wanted a Hungry Caterpillar party this year. Actually, she kept saying a Fat Hungry Caterpillar party. This year was a much smaller party than her previous 2 birthdays. Emaline's little buddies were out of town so they weren't about to make it to the party. She did have her Macy Friend, as Emmy calls her, in attendance though and had the BEST time.

As stoic as she looks, she LOVES this game. We play it several times a day. Emmy has won almost every time...fair and square.

8 books with a reader to go with it. LOVE IT. She can "read" the books all by herself. HOURS of entertainment...literally.
