Finally, another blog post!

We would like to say a big THANKS to my mom for all her help, before and after August's arrival. Seriously, I am not sure what we would have done without her. She definitely helped make the transition a whole lot easier. Love you mom!!!

Another question we get asked a TON is how Emaline is adjusting. She has warmed up to August quite a bit since he first arrived home. She still doesn't want to touch him or get too close, but she does take interest in him. She calls him Baby Brother and when referring to him it is always in the possessive tense, Baby's Brother's. She has also taken to carrying her babies around the house, wrapped up in blankets and will put them in August's bouncy seat when he is not using it. She has also been throwing a few more fits when she is told no or asked to do something she doesn't like. I think she cries more because she sees us respond to August's cries....but we are patiently working on correcting this behavior.

And just a few more from the first few days:

Hopefully the Easter post will be up tomorrow!!!

Love all the pictures Meg. That pic of you and August in the Hospital is simply adorable. The look on your face is priceless. What will you call him for short, if anything? Just curious if any nicknames have emerged. Hope you're still feeling well and getting some rest. Love you!

hey Amanda,
I am not sure what we will call him for short. Some already call him Augie and Gus...which we like. Right now we are just calling him August.
