First, I wanted to say thanks to everyone for accepting my blog invite. I understand that reading the blog now might be a bit more inconvenient, or maybe not. I just wanted to say thanks for registering and getting an account. And if there are any relatives or friends, that I might not have included and they mention anything to you, please just have them email me to request an invite. I hope that y'all have been enjoying the blog and I am going to do my best to post more often.
" Your baby is gaining about an ounce a day. He now weighs almost 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon) and is more than 18 1/2 inches long. He's shedding most of the downy hair that covered his body, as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that protected his skin during her nine-month amniotic bath. Next week, your baby will be considered full-term." Yep, in one week, full term!!! Not that that really means a thing, but it is just a bit closer to Baby Time. We did get the nursery finished last weekend. I have 1 or 2 minor, minor things to do, but for all intents and purposes, it is now ready for it's tiny occupant to arrive. We have also preregistered at the hospital and taken things to Goodwill. The next things on my list: Baby Shower this Friday and some freezer cooking on Saturday. I am going to be doing breads and breakfast which include, muffins, banana bread, pop tarts and a big batch of granola(not a freezer meal). I will also be going to the doctor this week and then I will be going every week. So, far all my appointments have been uneventful as everything has been textbook.
We got hit with more snow last night. It is so much fun to wake up to a winter wonderland. I LOVE IT!!! Flagstaff has great winters because even though we got 6-8 inches of snow, it is not bitterly cold and wet. And I have already added a goal for next winter: To go cross country skiing. I haven't been in 2 years and I have been pining to go all day today. Of course, in my preggo, state, I can't. Look out, first snowfall next winter, I will be skiing again!
Emaline LOVED playing in the snow today. She just wanted to walk all over the place. She also threw a few snowballs. We brought out the sled and she didn't want it even remotely near her...she just wanted to walk.

You look great! Great update. Wish I could say I love snow as much as you do. But, after almost 30 years with it, I hate it! ;) Can't wait to meet your lil punkin.
