28 Weeks!

28 Weeks along! CRAZY! I had a dr. appointment this week and everything is precisely as it should be. I took my glucose tolerance test and passed. It was harder to take this time. I don't remember the drink being as sweet when I took it with the first pregnancy, plus my lips were really chapped so it burned my lips as I drank it. Now I go to the dr every two weeks instead of every 4. This is the home stretch.

I am feeling good. I get tired, but nothing out of the ordinary there. This really has been an easy pregnancy, pretty textbook with nothing unusual. Which I am plenty thankful for!

Let your spouse put an ear to your belly -- he might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required). Inside the womb, the formation of tiny capillaries is giving baby a healthy pink glow. Baby's also soaking up your antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and baby will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.

You look fabulous Meg. Glad it's been such an easy pregnancy. And, btw, we even had a stethoscope and still could never hear the heartbeat unless at the docs. Drove me nuts ;). Love you and excited to meet your boy soon. I still can't believe you're almost the momma of 2! Weird!
