Zoo Day

Our trip to San Diego was FABULOUS! Emaline did great on the 8 hour drive.

And just a quick Emmy update:
@ 17 Months old:
~ She down to 1 nap
~ When she wants something, she will point to it, say YUP, and then nod her head 100 times as if she is giving herself permission to have it.
~She loves to empty things, especially the laundry basket full of clean, folded laundry.
~ She will pat or rub your back when she gives a hug or cuddle.
~ She loves to help with whatever we are doing: watering the plants, picking things up, shutting drawers, sweeping....
~ She talks a lot, not too many words yet, but she is good at mimicking the sounds of words. Right now if we say 1,2, she will will say "3", but not really. She also says BOOM, Boo, Hi at the appropriate times.

Oh the BOB. I would like to nominate this stroller as the official stroller of zoo visits! It was fabulous. It handled the tight exhibits, crowded paths and a hungry baby like a dream! LOVE IT!

This was the best picture. It was hard to get her to look at the camera and not the orangutan.
