We painted our bedroom and it looks fabulous. I was able to satisfy the bug with re-purposing things and making new picture arrangements. But I think once you give in to the creative bug, it just feeds the desire to keep going.
I covered some old formula and nut tins with pretty paper from World Market that I use to store my sewing notions. I rearranged the back room, sorta. I made Emmy an Easter basket out of an old gift bag and ribbon I had on hand. And soon, I will be re-purposing my old sweaters and shirts into cute dresses and skirts for Emmy girl. So since I don't have oodles of spare cash laying around not a chop saw...I will be content on using what I have to make what I want and satisfy my need to create.
My new motto is : "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or go without". I have it framed in my craft area, on the fridge and framed next to my closet.
But just in case you are wondering what I really really really want to make take a look...you can drool along with me....
I want to make this craft desk, but only the part with the cubby:

And above the desk I want to do something like this:

And then there is this that I am pining to make once I find the paper that is to my liking ( of course we will write our own house rules)

And I would LOVE to make Emmy this;

So yeah, that is my creative wish list.
More fun Emmy news coming....
